Y is for Yesterday

Yesterday, on our drive back from Chipping Campden, we stopped at The Welcombe Hills to see what the view is like.  That is the Welcombe Hotel just below and Stratford Upon Avon town is beyond.  The photo I posted yesterday was taken from a spot in those distant hills.

Follow this link - ABC Wednesday - for more photos from around the world featuring the letter 'Y'.

PS I found a rather nice thatched cottage in Chipping Campden.  I am all set for Thatched Roof Thursday tomorrow :).

Stunning shot! I visited someone who lives in Chipping Camden many years ago.

Absolutely stunning! When I was in England a few years ago we visited Scotney Castle and Sissinghurst both of which were beautiful.

What an absolutely beautiful scene. I could only think of the song "Yesterday" as I viewed it.

BTW I got some "Clotted Cream and scones" for Christmas, and had never had the pleasure of your English style cream. So yummy, I hooked, but rather expensive here in the states. $8.99 for a small jar. But worth it!

I am so glad you like this one - you all :). I keep looking at it myself - such a gorgeous spot.

Yes, Roger, photo was taken 'way back last year' :).

Leslie - Chipping Campden is sort off the tourist circuit and that helps to maintain its charm. I have a cousin who lives there (Also from USA)..lucky me!

Wanda - Good on you to invest in that clotted cream. I am an American so I am doing that sort of thing all the time. My latest find was Tootsie Rolls. Overpriced but delicious.

Thanks again!
