....one of three Georgian town houses in Coventry.
The sign outside tells the whole story.
I love to imagine how this City must have looked
before World War II.
Priory Row is just behind Coventry Cathedral.

It's Wednesday. Hard to believe. Sunshine today but
the dreaded rain is starting just about now.
Ugh!

it's a beautiful place!
Beautiful...so nice it was restored!
It certainly IS a grand house! I know about how most of Coventry was so badly bombed by the Germans in WW2 - Churchill's decision must have made him so sad to have to sacrifice this city for the better good.

Absolutely wonderful!
How truly one of a kind! Love the architecture and I'm glad it was restored.
It's a beauty!
That is a lovely building! Great photos!
It is a beautiful building with nice architectural features.
So heartening to know that a place like this was restored after war damage! They did a lovely job. And very sweet the sign is there to tell the story to all who pass by (including those of us in blogland:).
Very elegant building, and entrance.
Interesting architecture... and in such good condition !
I visited Coventry as a student and my visit to the cathedral was amazing. A beautifully modern and appropriate building - the stained glass was so awesome.

I hope 2014 proves to be a good year for you and yours!
Got to say that is one delightful building! I agree that it would be nice to have seen the area prior to the war. What a price we pay to gain power or advantage over one another. I used to think humans would learn, now I'm not so sure.
Wonderful that something that old remains in Coventry.
It really is a grand building, Lauren.
Half of the fun of doing a blog for me is reading your comments. YOU have really interesting things to say. Thank YOU :).
Definitely beautiful!!! How sad that more of those beautiful buildings were destroyed in the war...I've never really known just how much damage was done back then...what a tragedy.
A BOFFO building!

How lucky we are that there are people who fight to keep a wee bit of history alive hey Lauren.. I would have loved this then as much as I do now.
