These were taken in a real rush on Wednesday at about 4.30pm near home. In Coventry, it is nearly dark at this time of year. It was cold and that is frost on the trees with a bit of snow on the ground at Copsewood Grange Golf Club. I have shown you this view with golf course under water.
At this very moment in time, it is snowing. That slope above is covered in about 5 inches of snow and schools are out. I am off in a minute to see if how many kids are sledging down that hill.
More photos featuring the sky can be found by following this link - Skywatch Friday.
Have a wonderful weekend. Have fun in the snow, if it is about. But be careful!
PS. I wasn't joking...ha ha! Just got back. (4.30pm today)

Lovely dusk shot. But, 4:30 p.m.? It's like that in Michigan in the winter, which eventually led me to moving to sunny Florida. Your current photos versus the summer time are quite dramatic. Have a great weekend!
Lovely shots. Happy sky watching.
Mysky.
What a gorgeous series of dusk pictures! It looks more like parts of the U.S. than the UK:) You called in on those kids, they look like they're having a grand time too. Stay safe in the snow and have a relaxing weekend!
wonderful ambiance .. have a great weekend
Lovely! It's already starting to get dark later for us...now about 5:30!!!

stunning collection of photos. really love the first one :)
You said the first one was a 'quick shot" but it is really great for a hurry job. So much drama with limited colors.
My goodness. Put on the thermals, pull on the gloves and turn up your collar. Coventry looks freezing.
I really do need to post on Skywatch Fryday again. Marvelous, LoL Pasa! Just wonderful!!
How beautiful... although it looks really cold! :-)
SRQ - Yes, 4.30pm. I got the sequence wrong. Moved from Pasadena to Hawaii, then Coventry. Odd, I know :).
Thanks Liza. Will visit you in a minute.
Will do, Lulu :).
Cheers, Daryl, Chieftess & Jo.
Cloudia - Ah...Blue hours...so right!
Gracie - I got lucky and Joe you summed it all up perfectly :).
Cafe Pasa. Thank you and I would love to see more Pasadena skies any Friday.
JM...burrr :). Thank you!
It is hard taking photos of scenes like this, so dark.
Stunning shots! I love the first one especially.
Oh my, such lovely images..dark at 4.30 is a bit tough though.
Soooo true, Jack. I really did have to rush!
Cheers, Petrea & PerthDP!
Look at those kids, enjoying the snow! What a scene!
