We went back to Coombe Country Park this morning to take some final pictures with the snow. It will be melting by the weekend. This is the first time I have seen a fox there. No telephoto lens in my kit as yet but that is definitely not a cat. (Click on the image and see if you agree.)

Nicely spotted. I photographed a fox last year, near the old tree. Looked around for the fox on my recent visits, no luck so far.
Wonderful capture! You're right -- that's no kitty cat. He really stands out with all the white snow. I would have been so excited to have such a neat wildlife encounter. So nice of him to turn right toward you too.
Always good to spot a fox and this is a great winter image.
Great spot and photo, and yes definitely a fox..
That's an amazing capture! You did very nicely with the white snow:) I have yet to see a fox in the wild here, so exciting to see this.
It is a fine image, whatever that little smudge is!
Looks like a fox to me! Whatever it is, there's no doubt this is a gorgeous photo!
Ha ha! Jack :)
Thanks all. I was a long ways away so I am excited I got it, just.
Definitely a fox and you should be exited its an excellent capture.
I echo the others - How exciting is that?! Good one, LOL!!
Thanks Grace and Adele. I was excited. I had to do a little running in the snow (always challenging) to get my position.
