At Last....

....a little bit of snow.

This spot is just around the corner from where I live. Looks a tad bleak. I really do love that oak tree just ahead. The Sowe River runs beside it.  About an hour after I took this photo the sun came out but it was too cooooooold to go back and take this photo again.

Well, that is my world.  Have a look at other contributions on the link for Our World Tuesday and enjoy!

Stoneleigh, Warwickshire

Grade II Listed Black & White Cottage
Today is 'Be A Tourist Day'.  It is sunny and warm out.  Off to a couple of nearby villages, starting with Stoneleigh.  This house is for sale (£750,000) and looks a tad larger than a cottage to me.  Wish I could afford it.

It sits along side the River Sowe in the village of Stoneleigh.  It took us about 15 minutes to get here from Coventry.

The photograph below is of the view to my left looking over the bridge into Stoneleigh Village itself.

A note about 'Comments'.  I only realised today that people have to jump through some hoops to leave a comment.  (Thanks, Adele.)  So I am relaxing the security features to see what happens.  I have also changed the format.  A little 'trial and error' to follow to see how it goes.  Cheers!

Down By The Riverside

River  Sowe, Coventry
The River Sowe, that is. Unlike the swans I photographed a few days ago, I had no chance getting close to these three. Yesterday, the river was more like a lake on the golf course beyond.  Today the river is looking calmer but not calm enough for those three.

Room With A View

This bird house is discreetly placed overlooking the Sowe River which runs along side Ernesford Grange School & Community College playing field.  PS  No one was in!
