I got lucky this morning driving through Brandon. This 1600's thatched cottage is a classic in itself, but to add a 1937 Austin 7 to the frame is a bonus....not to mention a 1961 Massey Ferguson tractor as well. For you car buffs, here is a closer look at that Austin 7.

I just love those roofs! Cool house and cool cars.
I love the old MF little red tractor, wonderful.
I love that thatched roof! We definitely don't we much of those around my neck of the woods, very cool. Those vehicles are beautiful - you really found a treasure trove here:)
Well, I think I had better get out and photograph some more thatched roofs :). There is usually a VW parked in front of that house, so I was extra delighted to see what was on offer today.
Come on, Lulu, I am sure you will find a thatched roof somewhere!!!
Love that roof.
I know for sure we have no thatched roofs around here. Or do we??? I'll keep my eyes open, just in case! So cool, and love the cars!
Happy hunting, Adele :)
Wow!!! That's some thatching job!!! And great car!!!
This is quite a capture. My daughter lives in South Africa, outside Johannesburg, and they have recently bought a house with a thatched roof. Growing up in a Connecticut suburb, I am sure she never had that in mind for her future.
