Skywatch Friday - Landscape Architecture

View from Coombe Abbey Hotel on a frosty day last week.  The gardens were redesigned by Lancelot 'Capability' Brown in 1771 to incorporate Coombe Pool lake.  The blue sky sets the scene.

Have a super weekend.  I am bracing myself for a bit more snow followed by heavy rain and wind.  Good grief!

It's pretty as a postcard! And especially lovely given more snow is in the forecast (good grief is right! I can hear Charlie Brown:) Who'd have thunk England would be great cross-country ski country? Hope it's still a lovely weekend!

If it's that good looking now, I can only imagine how it must look when everything is in bloom. Hope you don't get too much rain/sleet/snow (ick!).

Tanya - saw the video..cute.

Lulu - Snow is disappearing fast - no cross country skiing today :).

SRQ - So far so good. Just rain. The golf club I photo a lot is flooded but nice blue skies.
