Completely Exposed...

...those trees.  There is a lot of farmland around the perimeter of Coventry.  The trees you see here are on the top of a ridge and completely exposed to the rain, wind and (possibly on Sunday) snow that comes from any direction.

Have a look at more skies worldwide by following this link - Skywatch Friday.

Have a wonderful weekend all.  I am looking forward to our British Academy Awards show on Sunday night.  I feel totally prepared :).  Wonder if Adele will be singing the theme song from 'Skyfall' live on the show.

Oh, this could be a painting! Perfect landscape and sky - I love that soft light. Hope Adele sings after all, what a theme song:)

(The linked group I used today is like a German version of Skywatch Friday! I didn't know of it, but someone connected to it asked if I wanted to link a photo there. They've lovely pictures and many participants also dual-link to Skywatch Friday. Give it a spin! Your Skywatch Fri photos would be lovely.)

Yep, looks pretty wind-swept - and a little bit wild, despite the evidence of crops. I like it!

Love the wilderness feeling on a sparse landscape.

Thank you ALL. The day yesterday had the same feel...so when I say it is cold and damp here - just think of that photo :).

Lulu - Thanks for that info re Skywatch. I will join in (if I remember...ha ha).

Now to the film comments:

No Adele!!!! She was at the Grammy Awards and a winner. Well done, Adele. (I am smiling because of we have an 'Adele' from Sierra Madre joining us here too. 'Hi' Adele!

PerthDP - Cool you get British TV programs. Our family in Oz say that there are quite a few English shows now on TV there. They love seeing Graham Norton and Jonathan Ross shows (only 1 week delay).

Time for a cup of coffee now and to visit your blogs!
