'Where's That Apple?'...

....I can only guess that is what he is thinking.

This isn't today.  I took this a couple of week's ago when we had that heavy snow, and we could only go out for walks. The photo didn't quite come out as I hoped.  But when I was looking at it over the weekend....I decided to use it because I rather like that horse.  I have taken his picture before.  He came right up to me because my camera is red (I think).  The horses in this field are very well looked after, but I still feel that I owe him an apple...bet he thinks the same :).

Happy, happy Monday!  It was  a beautiful day yesterday and we actually got in a game of golf (and it was a good game of golf!).

oh poor guy! i like the photo....we are in for a pretty day today, sunny and 50 but tonight/early tuesday we are supposed to get a wintry mix. enough to mess up the morning commute and will probably delay school, then it will warm up! we are closer to spring!

sweet shot ... yesterday was very cold/windy but today is even colder .. tho the blue skies pretend otherwise

What a pretty scene! Sounds like you're enjoying some changing weather patterns if you were able to play golf yesterday.

I remember this magnificent creature and also your fun comments about the red camera! We warmed up at last, though some of the temperatures dipped bitterly toward the afternoon. So much so even the ever-popular golf course remained empty, despite the snow melting away.

Looks like a friendly horse, hopefully s/he can graze on the green grass again now.

I love this ongoing weather conversation many of us are having. I have added about 5 USA cities to my weather app on my phone so I can make comparisons :).

SRQ - And, I came second...hooray!

Lulu - Most of the golf courses around here are flooded. Ours was a bit wet but still open on a sunny day.

Deb - The grass is well manicured thanks to a collection of lovely horses.

PerthDP - I know - I must hold up my end of the bargain :).

Thanks you all for taking the time to type a few words. Lovely!

Ohhhh...LOL...I love this pic!!! The snow...the pasture...the horse...wonderful!!! Very early 1900'a New England...yeah...I know...you're in Old England!!! Still, it reminds me of a deck of cards I had when I was a kid that was a New England yard with snow...taken in the early 1900's!!!

Poor sweetie! I hope he has access to shelter. We used to let the horses out in the morning, and even on cold days they wanted to go. They're big animals, and a barn must feel confining to them. But we left the barn doors open and came to tuck the horses in at night. Even horses get cold.

Chieftess - What an interesting summary you have come up with. I like it.

Petrea - You are soooo right. These horses have shelter and big coats. I am impressed to find them so nicely wrapped up in cold weather. This field is for privately owned horses and there is no shortage of food either. PS. Loving your book :).
