It's Hot Outside!
Last time I used a photo of my favorite tree, it was decidedly greener out. It is 5.30pm here in Coventry and it is 88F out. Wonderful!!!! Thunderstorms are brewing and I expect that this dry grass will get some rain soon.
For those of you who watched the The Open Championship, hope you were happy with the result. Phil Mickelson is such a gentleman and deserved the win. I was pulling for Lee Westwood and he didn't do too badly.
I was referred to a new dentist and had a consultation appointment today. If you have a poorly tooth, don't leave it! Go to the dentist NOW :). Cheers!

31 C, that is warm.
I was hoping for Stenson to win.
We have reached 34 degrees C today in London so I put off going on my walk. Also waiting for the thunderstorm and the flash flooding which always happens! I hoped Lee would win his first major as he came so close.
Lovely Summer day for a new baby! :-)
Aloha
'Your' tree is looking good!
The temp sounds about right to us in Florida. It's raining every day here now, though, which makes the landscape lush but the air humid. Feels more like south Florida than north central Florida!
As you know I was pulling for Westwood and he did well. Mickelson just played lights out! Pretty amazing to win two major events in two weeks - the Scottish Open and the British Open. I think you're right - he seems like a nice person and I like the way he treats his family and how he interacts with his fans.
You advice re teeth is good. And it gives your readers something to chew on!
It will be fun seeing this tree in different seasons. Our heat wave finally broke today after six days, but so far it has not rained. We need it. Maybe tomorrow.
I watched a lot of the Open. The course looked devilishly difficult. I was hoping that Woods would have a good last day and win, but he played poorly (as did Westwood) and Mickelson was brilliant.
The pain is worst when the dentist works on the tooth. I go to the dentist regularly. It is hot here but not as hot as where you are. Nice tree shot!
What a beautiful day! I love your favourite tree. :-)
our tree! it's been toasty here too lately...hope the new dentist can do something for you!
It doesn't take long for the landscape to dry out after a spell of hot weather, I just find it hard to imagine in the UK where you get so much rain Lauren. Glad to hear things are going well with the dentist and yes every six months is the way to go but it's too easy to skip and leave it longer oui :)
Delightful comments. Enjoyed reading every single one!!!
Thank you all!
What a beautiful day for you!!! gorgeous color!!!
