Caravans...

...acres of them.

I did this. Once.  Stayed in a caravan along the Lincolnshire coast.  For families it works well.  Especially when over the road you have huge sandy beaches like the photos below.

That's my husband (on the move).

Happy Tuesday.  It will be a windmill tomorrow.  Do wish the letter was 'W' for ABC Wednesday!  Take care all.

Really caravaning is probably the perfect family holiday when the kids are young, lots of fun, especially as you say if you're across the road from the beach. I must admit I did like it then..but now I like the comforts of home or a hotel :)) These shots are fantastic Lauren, the weather looks a little menacing oui!

I'll jump in quick here :). I am for the hotel comforts now! 'Tres' menacing :) (First time I have used French in my blog...ha ha!)

I'm assuming that these are holiday accommodations? They seem awfully close together; are they?

I can imagine this is an economical choice for families. I think it would be sort of fun too!

"Caravan" must be another word for our "trailer" or "mobile home" or "prefab home"?

I think they look closer together than they are because you lens conflated the distance, right?

It's a beautiful beach but looks a bit chilly.

Back again.

Yes, Kate. And, this particular site is made up of long rows (about 25 feet apart, my guess) of caravans.

Halcyon - When I stayed in one years ago, it was fun. They can be quite big.

Lowell - I have lived in England too long. I didn't even think of using the word 'trailer'. They are basically static trailers or static mobile homes. The shot is conflating the distance a little but not much. It looks like that from the promenade. And, yes, it was chilly. Better the next day.

Cheers!

So you really are English!!! Sounds like you've gotten quite used to the different idiosyncrisies of your home in Coventry! Those Pasadena roots are deep though!!!
