V Is For Vigilance

Getting from Point A to Point B...with care :).

Off we go.  This way.

Stay close.

Here comes Dad.

Quick assurance that it is all clear and safe to proceed.

Almost there.

Made it :)

These were taken last Sunday with no time to sort out camera settings.  Our swan family is going from one pool to another. There were 9 cygnets last week.  Now we only have 8. They must be vigilant always.

Taking part in ABC Wednesday and Outdoor Wednesday.

Great timing and sweet photos. It's funny how ducks and swans do that -- line up their family and head off for greener pastures.

Thank you for this beautiful and touching series of the swan family. I tried once to take photos of a swan family, but dad came hissing towards me to protect his family.

I am hoping that #9 will turn up, Grace.

Thank you all once again for taking a minute to enjoy yet more swans and leaving a comment. They are sweet and they really do need to be careful out there!
