Um.....
What's going on here? When you go to the beach in England you may get lucky and see a row of beach huts. They are small, practical pieces of real estate you can own (or rent) and use when visiting the beach. You can't live in a beach hut - just use it during the day to make cups of tea, change your clothes...that sort of thing. The pitched roof huts on the left are in need of new roofs (I would say) but you get the idea.
Last Thursday we were in Mablethorpe and during our walk along the beach we happened upon a row of beach huts with a difference. The 'odd one out' here is one of The Bathing Beauties Beach Huts. There is a collection of 8. They were not open otherwise I would have photographed them all. The link will show you more, if you are interested.
Now for that all important 'reflection shot' (that went completely wrong). Purse? Straight? Oops.
It's Monday....hope it is a good one for you all!

Talk about the odd one out :) looking good Madam et Monsieur LOL ..
its a pretty purse and its so nice to get a glimpse of you!
Love those little huts all in a row, such a quintessential beach scene:) Also, enjoyed the self-portrait in the 'Eyes Wide Shut' hut (your purse is beach-perfect:)
I don't think that I've seen the same very practical conveniences here in my country.
Well, this is something I've not seen before! In fact, I don't think we have any kind of beach huts, either rented or owned, on Florida beaches. You only get an umbrella or a little tent. :)
Love the reflection photo and it reminds me of the many times I've taken pictures of things that I never noticed in the viewfinder! :)
Thank you for your very kind comment on Ocala!
I love beach huts. Great reflection of you though.
I like the different one. It probably surprises lots of people.
The new one is pretty cool but I prefer the old fashioned ones, they look lovely.
I really, really do love reading what you all have to say. Thank you for taking the time.
It is neat that these huts are new to some of you. If ever I find a better example (and there are plenty - any excuse to go to the beach) I will share.
Thanks again!
Very picturesque.
Well, modernity can be jarring, can't it?
Nice shots!
