The Forest At Coombe

I love ferns and found some here,
unexpectedly.
A delight and kind of pretty too.

A little further down the path
the appearance is more dramatic.
I am thinking a scene from
'The Wizard of Oz'
could take place here :).
Have a look!

In truth, soon children, dogs, Mums and Dads
will be bounding through these parts, happily!
Perhaps even taking shelter from the rain.

Both of these photos were taken Sunday just before it rained!

Did I see Oberon hide behind those trees, his fairies not far behind?

I love the light illuminating all that beautiful green. The tree in the second photo definitely looks like it could get up to some magical mischief and start talking or moving around.

Imagination is a wonderful thing:). And, so are the walks we have in parks around the UK. They are all amazing. Thank you for your comments. Love them!
