Oh Dear

I generally lean towards sharing pretty sights of places
in and around Coventry.  Since I have been sick with
a rotten cold...I haven't ventured out far - here's
what's happening near where I live :).

Top shot was taken on Sunday.  Yes, it was warm and sunny but
my attention was distracted by work being carried out by the gas people.

Today (feeling a bit better) went for another little walk to the main road.
No sunshine, but plenty of disruption.  For how long?  Who knows.

Back tomorrow with a pretty thatched roof cottage.

Well, that's the plan :).

Hi Nadine.  Here are those shots I promised you...ha ha!

Well, I suppose the barriers could have been a worse colour!

Good to hear you're feeling better. These constructions can be a lot of stress for the residents.

Goodness, those barriers are multiplying at an alarming rate! Wondered if you were unwell Lauren, glad you are on the mend now.

Hope you are feeling better soon.

Isn't it wonderful how one utility company comes along to dig up the road and then fills it back in - just in time for another utility company to come along and dig it up again. Hope you are feeling much better.

Oh no, hope you are on the mend now! I do like these slice-of-life shots very much. In that top shot, you managed to make the construction barriers look nice:)

Are you saying that people in this area are full of gas? Looks kind of scary if they're working on gas lines. I think you need a vacation in the Bahamas!

Rather different barriers than what I'm used to.

Keep your strength up!

That is a lot of utility work. I hope your cold is nearly over!

I am feeling MUCH better. That little walk down the street to see what's going on did me good.

Thanks for stopping by.

Lowell - Bahamas...sounds like a good idea :).
