Baptistry Window, Coventry Cathedral
Designed by John Piper and made by Patrick Reyntiens
I am only showing one third of the window today. I will show you more on another day.
The boulder in front of the window originates from a hillside at
Bethlehem and has been fashioned into a font.
Not far away is a quiet spot where candles can be lit
and memories recalled. I did that today.

Happy Birthday, Mom.

That is one impressive window which looks to comprise a wall. Love the idea of a huge rock becoming a baptismal font, also. The colors here are delicious!
Love the whole thing!
Great windows!

The feeling of that spot and the emotions it stirs is as beautiful as the window..in my opinion/

Lovely window!
What a serene and beautiful one for G. So much grace in a place that also experienced so much devastation. Thank you for the gorgeous post.
Beautiful, LOL. Absolutely beautiful.
So gorgeous. Was it there in 1998 when I visited? I don't recall it.

A beautiful pattern of color and glass. An inviting, moving and peaceful place. Lovely choice for theme.
Also Lauren, here is a little tip for capturing moon shots - use the "manual" setting on your mode selector. It helps.
Gorgeous indeed!
