Thatched Roof Thursday #38 - Kenilworth

White sky to match white thatched cottages.

Happy 4th of July to my USA pals.  I couldn't find a thatched cottage with an American flag outside.  But I did find a street, actually two streets, with more than one thatched cottage in it.  I love this walkway. Even the windows have a little bit of thatching.  If the sun ever comes out again, I want to go back and re-take some of the houses I spotted with a little more interesting sky.  That is a big 'if'.

Kenilworth is about 15 minutes away (by car) from Coventry.  Have a terrific day.  It's hamburgers for dinner tonight :).

How very lovely! Yards and gardens in the UK are wonderful.

Could you get a more quintessential English scene Lauren. How wonderful that the windows are thatched also.. Who wouldn't love to be led down that garden path :)

I like the angle so much- that long path in the centre and it's clever to take two parts either side- a great take on a lovely theme Lauren.

It seems that a cottage cannot have a thatched roof and be anything but charming.

Haha, I like how you so perfectly matched the white sky and homes:D Those thatched windows are just precious! Clearly, I didn't have a good enough look around Kenilworth last year:) I love that inviting path.

I always love your thatched roof houses, but this time I'm distracted by the garden. I love the almost wild look and wish I had enough of a green thumb to create something like that for ours.

Let's hope the skill of thatching never dies out. They are such attractive buildings.

This is so quaint! I love that cobbled path leading up to the cottage. And the garden is fantastic too! :)

PS: Thanks for visiting my blog. Glad you enjoyed it and I am going to take a peek around yours as well. :)
