Sitting On The Fence

This might be a rather boring week for some.
I am posting holiday snaps.
These are from our little trip to the
Lincolnshire coast last month.

It is windy, hence the massive display of wind turbines.
Sharks?  I don't think so.

Just had to throw this one in.
We are in Ingoldmells (just north of Skegness).

Weather is better now.  Hooray!
I enjoyed watching a lot of sports on TV.
Thrilled that the 77 year wait for a British Men's Wimbledon Champion is finally over.
Well done, Andy Murray.
Ooh and the British Lions did rather well in Oz too.

It does look cloudy and windy but hey the sun is out today. What a fabulous win for Andy. I was over the moon especially after seeing him play at Wimbledon on Friday in the semi final.

i wish we had those wind turbines helping reduce our dependency on oil and gas ... and maybe they'd even help ease this awful heat

Rather well!!! they thrashed us Lauren haha! Ah well that's sport for you :) I was so happy also for Andy Murray, it's been a long time coming. Now about the shark,,,what the! I remember when the wind turbines first came out, and probably still, some people thought they were a scar on the landscape, but using the power of nature is unbelievable clever I think.

Thanks for stopping by you all :).

Fun60 - I would love to go back to Lincolnshire again when the weather is like what we have now. I was excited when I saw you had been to see the tennis.

Daryl - Come to think of it...the only turbines I have seen are on land in the States. Hope it a bit cooler today.

Tanya - We loved it there. It is a pigeon...I think it was cold :).

Bev - I can say that it is a tad different for sure.

Deb - Thanks. We did have sunshine the next day, thankfully!

Stephanie - The beach is huge and so much sand.

Grace - Plastic :). Couldn't resist. I like the way those big turbine look (personally)...good use of that breezy coastline. Re the rugby - they should play one of the series in Perth!

I love how those beaches look opposite to ours on this season!

Weather, JM :). But I get what you are saying. It is actually quite nice to have a huge beach all to yourself (so long as you have a thick coat to wear or plenty of layers...ha ha).
