Rain Equals Green Fields

Recognize this shot.  I have used it a couple of times before.  The grass is so lush in comparison to February.

After having just spent over 2 hours trying to figure out what to post today, I have come to the conclusion that I need to organize my photos and thoughts.  I feel a little at sixes and sevens.  I did laugh when I found that Wikipedia gives a detailed definition of the expression.  Who would have thought :).

I'll be back for Thatched Roof Thursday.  Hope it is sunny where you are!

Participating in Our World Tuesday.

Grey and dull overhead probable similar to you today. You are right that without the rain we would not have a lush, green landscape. But then I would like some sunshine to enjoy it.

not sunny here...we have heavy rain and thunderstorms on tap for today, and pretty much the rest of the week. blah...supposed to go to the fair tomorrow and then on the 4th we go to our local carnival....stupid rain! but that picture is beautiful...i love the way the gray skies make the green fields even more green!

I'm not surprised it's so lush and green with all the rain you've been having Lauren, looks 'sumptuous' how's that for a description :) I know what you mean about getting thoughts together, mine have been all over the place this week also..time to rally :))

Alas we have more of the wet stuff today. Nice 'summer sky' picture.

Loving the moody skies! And I'm sure the rain is helping keep things so beautifully green (though I could use less of the rain myself:) I love that phrase, I first heard it in a song lyric and love it, even if it's rarely spoken.

Well, I learned something new today...you Brits have lots of interesting expresssions but I had not heard of "sixes and sevens."

I'm going to use that in a conversation with my southern buddies...they won't have a clue what I'm talking about. Actually, they don't have a clue anyway! :))

Two hours? Flip a coin!

I prefer the rich green version of the scene, even if it comes with a lot of rain.

My usual problem with picking photos is having too many I want to post. Maybe I am not discriminating enough. But, hey, it is MY blog!
