Hop Aboard

I don't know if it is unusual to see cygnets
as young as these at this time of year.
Taken last Sunday.

On the top shot you can see two
cygnets on the swan's back.
Below everyone is on dry land.
Dad is out looking for food and
those are coots in the lake.

I just had to do something of a family
nature in light of the Royal birth yesterday.
Congratulations to William and Kate.

PS.  Happy Birthday, Lily.
Hope you are having fun in Orlando :).

Participating in Our World Tuesday.

I know here everything is off weather wise, so the forest is off also. Boom & Gary of the Vermilon River, Canada.

Lovely shots of these beautiful critters! Sounds like you have some fun times planned. If'n I'd know family from Orlando was hopping over there, I might have crawled into a suitcase and surprised you! Nah. Would be fun to visit that area sometime. How's your tooth?

The image of the swan with cygnets on its back is pretty cool.

Get to a dentist! Now!

Lowell - I am holding up okay. Next Wednesday I have a date to be sedated and tooth removed. You pop over any time :).

Jack - I did! I have to play golf tomorrow and couldn't let friends down so I should be okay until next Wed.

Thanks Gary, Stephanie, Chrissy and Tanya for leaving a note.

Love the 'Royal' reference here Lauren :) babies of every kind are delightful oui! How cute in the first shot, taking a ride on mum's back, I've never seen that before. Good news about the tooth..some things are definitely better out than in!
