Lightning Strike
A rare glimpse of blue sky which didn't last for long. This photo was taken on the Brown Trail at Coombe Country Park. It was that angular tree that caught my eye. The wooden fenced squares on the right are protecting new trees from the sheep that are often in this field. This trail has hidden treasurers...soon to be revealed.

Beautiful picture!
Very nice old tree and a beautiful photo.
With British Summer Time starting on Sunday let's hope we see many more shots of the blue stuff.
Gorgeous capture of the tree and lovely blue! We had our summer change a few weeks ago (and the late daylight is confusing everyone I know into working an hour later than usual, which is no good:). I hope it's a very Happy Easter! We're having generic chocolate creme eggs instead of Cadbury's, heehee.
That tree has a very distinctive personality. It's a beautifully captured country scene. I'm looking forward to seeing what else the trail has to offer!
I'm intrigued!
Interesting! Have a Happy Easter, LOL!
Looks great outlined against the 'temporary' blue sky LOL, must have been quite a storm! I do love the 'lure' of treasure :) Enjoy your Easter break.

We're expecting snow again...drat!!!
thanx for your beautiful piece of heaven! :)
Thank you all for stopping by. Hope you had a peaceful Easter. Thank you for your sweet comments.
I went past that tree yesterday and it looked just the same - dramatic and cold!
Lulu - At least you know that taste of Cadbury's...! Not a fan of DST.
Tina - My granddaughter is studying German. I am going to ask her to write some 'text' for me for a future posting :).
