Theme Day - People Watching

Ricoh Arena Shopping Centre
I would say the little boy is definitely 'watching' the foot action of the young lady on the left.  See below - He is having a go himself.

Agree?  Day off tomorrow to give some thought about 'lighting' on shots like these. Have a good weekend, folks!

Oh....one more thing:  City Daily Photo (CDP) is a website sharing daily photos and Theme Days from many cities around the world.  Unfortunately, the website is experiencing difficulties - hopefully to be repaired.  You can follow members and/or join the group via Eric Tenin's CDP FaceBook page.  You can also visit Julie's page to see other 'people watching' contributions from the CDP group.

Haha, excellent capture on the little boy! Everyone looks great (and so happy -- though the crowning touch has to be that squirrel, genius :)))

(I struggle with light a lot, though I think your lighting looks good!)

I would love to have a photo with this big mouse too...:)

Wilf...come over to Coventry and I'll introduce you :).

Thank you all for leaving a comment.

Thanks, Lulu, for sympathetic 'lighting' comment. This shot was yet another one where I really couldn't see what I was getting - no viewfinder. My intention was to edit out the little boy until I saw him on the PC. What a stroke of luck.

You're doing awfully well for having no viewfinder. I can see it must be frustrating but I think there's some magic in your camera.

Aw, thank you, Petrea. Perhaps more mystery than magic.

PS. I have to laugh. The plan was to take a day off. I think I have spent the best part of over an hour commenting, replying and then commenting some more here there and everywhere. Amazing!!!!

I commented yesterday, and must not have realized i flunked the robot test! Anyway, I'm interested to see what lighting thoughts you come up with - I always admire the light in your photos. (...and these guys are cute!)

Ah..Adele. I didn't realize that people had to deal with that nuisance robot test. I have mixed opinions about it. Re lighting...I really do think I am at a disadvantage not having a viewfinder on my camera. I just can't see what I am photographing. The young lady on the second right is in a shadow possibly because that hamster/mouse is so big :). Maybe a flash would have worked better. I'm no expert but thanks for you nice thoughts. Appreciated.

An intersting group- what's RMix?

LOLfromPasa said...

Chrissy - RMix is a free internet radio station which was being promoted at the opening of this new pet shop opening last Friday. The girls were handing out flags. Well spotted!

Really funny your proposal. Well done, and thank you for all your comments in my blog.

I'm glad you didn't edit the boy out - he adds such interest! Good photo for the theme!

If you don't want to use the Robot test you can change your settings. Go to Dashboard/Settings/Comments, and you'll find it there. I recommend that if you stop using it you also stop accepting anonymous comments. That's what I do, and I get almost no spam.

The way I worded that sounds like an ad. Try this and you'll have absolutely no spam! Absolutely free!

Well, I am always game for some free advice. I will change my 'anonymous' setting. Thanks for your help! I have made a complete mess in today's comments putting stuff in the wrong box and then spotting errors when it is too late. Always happens when I am doing this instead paying attention to dinner....which I might add is burning :(.
