Through The Hedge

Coombe Abbey Hotel
A chance to try manual focusing :).

These photos were taken from
Coombe Country Park
a week ago - it was cold out.

The pool is frozen and so was I.
In fact, both Mr. LOL and I are stuck in
with colds.  If I can't get out to take
photos, let's see what I can find on all those
SD cards I seem to have :).

Back tomorrow!

I like your "through the foliage" shots (like a poacher)

Beautiful building and park. I have a hard time getting my finger to work the shutter when it gets that cold. Luckily, it doesn't happen around here all that often.

Pretty. I like the mystery of your first shot. :)

The first shot is like the opening scene of a murder mystery!

Hi Lauren, have just gone back and caught up on posts I seem to have missed, not sure how that happened. The images taken in and around the cathedral are stunningly beautiful and yes I can see how that would be something you would miss very much, I would miss those views also.. sorry to hear you both have colds, keep cosy and drink lots of hot toddies :)

These photos have captured cold beautifully. I find myself shivering. Do hope you both are on the mend from your colds.

Oh, yes, images like these are very tough to get a crisp shot without manually focusing.

And, colds! They are really going around this year. I had a mild one a couple of weeks ago, but fortunately it was not too bad.
