F Is For 'First'

Have a closer look in the pool.
A dog decided to join the swans for a little afternoon swim.

Back and forth the 3 went up and down the waterway.  Four lengths, I think.

This is the 'first' time I've seen this happen.  My suggestion:
Keep dogs on their leads.  The water is cold and
those swans can fly :).

The adventurous pooch finally responded to calls from the owners and
was rescued from the lake.

All ended well.  Thank goodness.

I imagine the swans didn't like that! What a beautiful setting.

No doubt that dog was happy to be out there swimming.

A fun time for the dogs but I'll bet the owners were getting a bit anxious.

Some dogs just can't resist the water. It doesn't look like the swans were very bothered. Beautiful place!

Hi all. The swans did get a little agitated but they seemed to get out of the way with ease. No harm done.

Oh, dear. Surprised it doesn't happen more often

It must have been a Labrador...mine would jump in, too, if I didn't have her on a lead.

Oh that's a very odd threesome you captured there Lauren :) just by what the visitors are wearing you can see how cold it is.
