Allesley Village, Coventry
'Serving Ales Since 1680'. My goodness me!
Coventry has plenty of pubs (also known as public houses or
licensed premises). Many have closed over recent years. So
now seems a good time to start photographing what is left.
I'll add more to this series from time to time.

I agree with Cloudia.
One wonders if there are any bar tabs outstanding from the early days. Quite a place!
That would make a good series especially if you find some with the original signs and names.
wow, what a long history! i'd love to visit!!
Nice shots of Coventry! You're inspiring me to make that a stop on my next trip to Great Britain.
That one has been around for a very long time. I love the colorful name.
Love English pubs Lauren, not such a weird name this one :) would be a good local I think :)
Well done. This is going to be a fine series.
