It was beautiful out this morning, particularly here in
Greyfriars Green located between Coventry Train Station and the City Centre.
The topiary figures, I would imagine, are to do with the WW1 Centenary.
In the background of both of these shots are heaps of boulders. That was
Junction 6 of the Ring Road that goes around Coventry City Centre.
Nearly 40 trees were cut down in the name of progress (Friargate Development)
but it is promised that double that will be replanted. Hope so!

It is a beautiful spot. Hopefully they keep their word about the trees.

Lovely gardens which, I assume, are delightful to visit.

Oh I'll say it again Lauren, the similarities are amazing! If there's one thing that makes me crazy :) it's very old trees being chopped down in the name of progress! You'll have to keep us informed.
