Thatched Roof Thursday #76 - Marton

This is my favorite sequence for arriving in a Warwickshire Village.
Pure bliss to see a thatched roof cottage at the end of the road.

It looks pretty big....

...and there is more....

Primrose Thatch, Marton
Row of 3 cottages, late 17th Century, Grade II listed.

Restoration work looks done!

PS.  You can just make out a lady on horseback and red call box in top photo :).

I was going to say that your definition of "cottage" is quite different than the one I'm used to, but now I see there are three "cottages," which makes sense. And it's wonderful these beautiful structures are being renovated.

Quite a lovely row... and so different from what we call cottages.

When we lived in Henley for a year before we came out to Perth we lived in one of a row of three cottages like this, it was so quaint, so English. So cool to see riders clopping (?) along the road.
