Kingfisher Pool, Warwick

This unique facility is especially designed for use by anyone under the age of 17
(to take up fishing safely in an organised way) and the disabled of any age.
The lake is surrounded by a tarmac path for easy wheelchair access.

There are 37 platforms evenly spaced around the lake.

There is a wonderful public footpath for walkers and cyclist that goes along side the lake too.
Located minutes from Warwick Castle in St Nicholas Park.

What a good idea to make use of the lake in this way.

Reminds me of the lake where I taught my children to fish.

Looks a great spot, those swans look to be raising large brood!

I'm a little older than 17, but I would have liked to learn how to fish in such a pleasant place.

A beautiful setting! My grandfather taught us to fish at a pond on his property. Good times!

This is probably the most thoughtful park I have ever heard of.
