T Is For Trying...

...to photograph a swan better than before.

Yes, another swan photograph.
I am on a mission to try and learn more
about the settings on my camera.

I think the photos here are better than the 'washed out' photos I posted last week.
I appreciate that the background is dark but I can see those feathers now.
More practice required.

This week has been a tad busy and I almost didn't get to the computer today.  Of course, 'T' should be for 'Thatched Roof Thursday'.  And, hopefully, I will find time to find another thatch to share tomorrow.  Fingers crossed.

Participating in ABC Wednesday and Outdoor Wednesday.

I think the swan is beautiful. Kudos to you for trying; I'm still doing "granny-automatic" and really fear trying to learn more techniques. Keep trying; perhaps it will inspire me!

Nice feather detail, that is definitely a whiter white!

THANK you for TRYING - TRULY worthwhile as it TURNED out TERRIFIC! Those feathers look so soft and beautiful against the water. I hope your TEA TONIGHT was a nice respite (and I agree, there is nothing like strong milky tea, ahhh!:)

The last shot here is beautiful LOL, but I have to say the composition in the first image from your last swan post was sublime! It's so difficult with pure white subjects and sun glaring on water. Looking forward to that 'thatch' tomorrow haha!
How good was the cartoon hey, it's nice to know I'm not the only one :)

Lovely shots! Keep trying... I'm totally self taught and I can say there is a sense of achievement when you finally get it right!!
In saying that, photographers are always learning!

Thank you so very, very much! It is great to have your encouragement. I have had to scrap more images than ever over the last week but no worries (thank goodness for digital photography). Thank you again!

Lulu - I really did go and have a cuppa. Needed it too. Thanks for putting the thought in my mind.

Grace - The cartoon was brilliant!

Tanya - Grasshopper :)
