When you drive into the village of Monks Kirby from Coventry...this is your view to the right.
Taken yesterday. I don't want to be fooled into thinking that Spring is here. But, I think it is :).
This second shot is taken just a little bit further down the road. Aw...!

My kind of season, too. Good bye winter and nasty spring!
I love the yellows of spring.
Beautiful! These remind me of the mustard fields in Rajasthan in Jannuary. Today it seems both our posts are tributes to spring. :-)
Gosh what a wonderful vista Lauren, A splendid approach into Monk. There's no way I'd have been able to drive by here without calling S T O P!!!!!!
Thank you very much for your kind comments and for your decision to "follow" our blog!
This is quite a view and very springy. Reminds me of the fields in Texas during the spring, covered with bluebells.
Glad that things are warming up there.
I love those oilseed rape fields! I think it really is Spring(ish:)! What a glorious moment it must've been, to get out, shed the coat, photograph *this*, lovely.
Great field of yellow!! Boom & Gary of the Vermilon River, Canada.
I think we are finally having spring this week. I hear summer is scheduled for a fortnight in August!
Spring is hurrying along here in London, making up for lost time.
Thank you for your visit and kind comments. I love this beautiful yellow field! We've had a lot of snow until last week so I am also hoping that Spring has finally arrived!
Whoa - I am slipping. It has taken me 2 days to thank you all for leaving a comment. And, great comments they are. Thank you!!!!!
Grace - You got the picture :). I had to ask nicely for Mr LOL to find somewhere to stop on a rather narrow lane!
Spring is the on-going theme for a lot of us and finally for Pat too and this scene reminds some of you of distant places. Love it.
Take note that Deb has the inside news as to when Summer will be here in England :).
