| St Peter and St Paul 14th Century Parish Church, Olney |
This photo is here for me. It was taken a couple of weeks ago when we visited family here from USA, and I just love that sky and the memory of a lovely day.
St.Peter and St.Paul's weather vane is inscribed: "I never crow but stand to show whence winds do blow. 1829". The top of the 185ft spire was restored in 1884 and is a different colour.

Beautiful! That's the downside of living in a small coastal town in the colonies - the oldest building here is a 100-year old wooden house!

one thing I realised when I visited the UK last year was how young our country of Australia is.
It's wonderful, love the angle, the beautiful building, and can feel that blue sky, ah! How nice you've been able to see family from the US there, a lovely day indeed :)
To be honest, we don't go there very often but it is a beautiful county and you never know. When we visited family in Australia (Melbourne area), I felt the same. New country with new beginnings. Our trip to Sydney was a highlight.
