Hurdy Gurdyist And His Apprentice

Here we have a demonstration of a Hurdy Gurdy, as part of the Heritage Open Days in Coventry this weekend. Our historic music specialist has no trouble engaging some help from this young lady.
I didn't know what a hurdy gurdy looked like either. Thought it was a much bigger thing. Very cool! Another shot that would have worked for People Watching!

Thanks all. I didn't know what a hurry gurdy was either. The top opens up...quite a neat bit of musical kit.
