Dusting Of Snow

Coombe Country Park
The Oak Tree I photograph
throughout the year in a Tree Series.

It was a bit of a dark day last
Sunday, but I was delighted to see some snow
on the ground at last.

Have a good weekend everyone.
Thanks for visiting me here in Coventry, England.

We had the dusting but it did not last long

Hello, very pretty snowy scene. I love the tree in the middle. Great shot. Happy Friday, enjoy your weekend!

The fence line emphasises the horizon line with the trees.

Lauren, You did a nice job framing your picture. I love how beautifully the tree branches fill the sky, the fence in the foreground, and of course a dusting of white on the landscape. We got snow earlier this week and we're fixing to get it again tonight. Maybe I will get take some photos this go around. I'm visiting from Skywatch Friday. It's nice to meet you. Hop across the pond to East Tennessee for a visit with Curious as a Cathy!

What a beautiful photo, even without snow by the way. I'm kinda jealous because I haven't seen any snow this winter, yet.

Beautiful capture. A light dusting of snow sure can make the surroundings look different!

You captured the silence snow brings to an area. Nice job!

That reminds me of a big oak located a mile or so from our house, sans snow, of course! :) It's a beautiful scene, Lauren!

Re your question: At one time, I had 7 or 8 photo blogs going, but that got to be way too much. I've still got several, as you know, but I'm not attempting to post every day on any of them at the moment. And a lot of times I'm cross-posting, like the one I did today which originally was meant for my Images blog.

Plus we have the website, L & L Photograph (http://www.landlfotos.com, which contains a photo blog page.

Every once in awhile, I get tired so I pull back - in fact, I'm rather in that spot right now. But I will keep posting some on one blog or another. Our daughter, Denise, who lives in Colorado will be posting most of the photos on Colorado in Color - at least until we get another trip out there!
