Another beauty in your Thatched Thursday series! I wish I could join in, but feel I would run out in week zero!! Hoping you get a good rest, feel better, and have a good weekend. (Also, inspired by you and Lulu, I'm looking into ABC Wednesday, as well. Might be fun to have that bit of structure added into the mix...)
Gosh, the pressure is on for next Thursday...:). The thatch today is about 3 houses away from Thatched Roof #1.

We had to decide on how to thatch that chimney. The original plan was to add a wooden structure to thatch around it, but the Thatcher came up with this idea. He was brilliant.
Has anyone seen the movie Braveheart? He was the on set thatcher for all the buildings in that film.
That's my claim to fame!
