'S' Is For Spires....

Coventry's Three Spires, that is.  See if you can spot them.
Coventry, England
View from Baginton Village
There you have it - Coventry's skyline.  It isn't easy to spot all three spires (Coventry Cathedral, Holy Trinity Church and Christ Church) these days.  Before the construction of several high rise buildings, it was those Three Spires that dominated the skyline in Coventry from the 14th Century.

This my offering for ABC Wednesday.  For more photographs featuring the letter 'S' follow the link to ABC WEDNESDAY.

Happy Birthday, Richard!

Wonderful choice for S! I love that you managed all three (did not seem an easy feat!) and the idea that just those spires dominated the skyline for ages. Beautiful. (Have a Happy Thanksgiving! A golfing day sounds just the ticket:)

yes, the third and smaller off to the left. Visible history. Just fascinating. . .one can imagine the modern city growing around them.

I see them. It would be so nice to see the earlier skyline, they change too fast. Same here in Perth .

what's with the barbed wire? were you shooting from an 'undisclosed location'? that skyline must have been nice when the spires were the only thing dominating it.

The barbed wire is there to keep the cattle in that field, Mama Pajama (cute name).

Thank you all for your kind words. I have been busy catching up with your weekend posting. Of course, they are all great! Have a wonderful week.
