Thatched Roof Thursday #74 - Marton, Warwickshire

The Old Brew House,
Village of Marton

The first time I saw this home there were vehicles in front.
Came back yesterday and hooray...an unobstructed view.
And, not too many cars in the street either :).

A beautiful place. So very English!

I do not know why, but these kinds of cotttages beckon to me. Perhaps it was too many Agatha Christy novels when I was a kid. I really wish there were houses like this in my town.

You found another fine example of a thatched house, LOL. Love it!

They all seem so well-kept. I think you've told us this already, but I assume these have legal protection?

I absolutely love these photos!!! Even though my father was a Canadian, he was in the British army during WWII. His parents were born in Kent, England. His regiment was the Royal Warwickshire! Your post, mentioning Warwickshire, made me think of this. :)

So lovely; and 2 chimneys! I can only imagine how cozy this house must be inside. It certainly looks inviting from the outside.

Amazing place! Glad you could take a picture without any car parked just in front of the house.
