This was how the sky looked last Saturday
at a shopping centre near us. I thought a photo of the fields
would be nice. There is a building in the distance.
Can you see it?
Well, I knew what it was and wondered if I could zoom in a little.
What you can see is a two storey, Grade 2 listed gate house known as West Lodge.
It was once the western entrance to the Coombe Abbey estate.
Ok, I am going to try and zoom a bit more.
The quality is more like a painting, I think, but I like the look.
And, wouldn't I love to have a look inside :).
Have a super weekend.

Gosh Lauren - how I would live to amble through that portico and have a good look around this place. Bon Vivant J.
I like the soft zoomed in pic! Looks quite romantic.
It certainly invites me to want to look inside!
lovely. I would like to look inside as well.
Lovely sky!!! You always post such lovely sky photos...I always think of England as mostly grey skies...I like your version better!!!!
If you do get a look inside, please take your camera!
Wow on the sky and lovely landscape.
Love the blue sky and fluffy white clouds at last.
beautiful...and let's go inside...pretty please!
I think we all would!
That's a gate house? Zounds. Looks like a rather large family could live there. Love that first panorama - such a gorgeous sky!
Get over there and knock on that door Lauren, tell them you have curious people from all over the world that would like to visit :) Loved the step by step approach!
How lovely!
I enjoyed that lovely zoom in, and of course I'd absolutely love a look around in there! What a storybook setting, you have found so many gems:)
