Discovering West Lodge

This was how the sky looked last Saturday
at a shopping centre near us.  I thought a photo of the fields
would be nice.  There is a building in the distance.
Can you see it?

Well, I knew what it was and wondered if I could zoom in a little.

What you can see is a two storey, Grade 2 listed gate house known as West Lodge.
It was once the western entrance to the Coombe Abbey estate.
Ok, I am going to try and zoom a bit more.

The quality is more like a painting, I think, but I like the look.
And, wouldn't I love to have a look inside :).

Have a super weekend.

Gosh Lauren - how I would live to amble through that portico and have a good look around this place. Bon Vivant J.

That's a gate house? Zounds. Looks like a rather large family could live there. Love that first panorama - such a gorgeous sky!

Get over there and knock on that door Lauren, tell them you have curious people from all over the world that would like to visit :) Loved the step by step approach!
