Last Of Autumn

This was Coombe Country Park a week ago.  I love this view
but it took me a little while to catch those swans in this nice pose.
Most of the time they were less than cooperative (below).

I'll be back tomorrow with a Christmas photo
then it is time to take a break...Christmas is coming FAST!

Such a pretty scene. It is nice to see the swans and the autumn colors now that we are well into the dreary months. Is that a little bridge in the distance. It is so nice. genie

Beautiful shots!

We have swans here on the Rideau river through the summer (now in winter quarters). They can be as self absorbed and uncooperative as these ones!

A wonderful variety of comments. Thank you all. As ever, I enjoyed reading each one. Thank you!

Genie - It is a bridge, a small one dividing the lake and pool. Behind me is Coombe Abbey Hotel.

Cloudia - I am thinking - patience :).

Ha! Ha! Love that shot of the uncooperative swans. Or probably it was much colder by the end of autumn that they have to bury their heads?:) I really enjoyed how you captured them in that state. It is also interesting to see the difference of the same spot within a week span.
