USA Retain The Ryder Cup....

...yet again.  The competition ended in a tie.  USA retain the cup.

Today it is all about golf.  Whilst the professionals are hotly contesting The Masters competition in Atlanta, Georgia, our golf society has been playing our own annual Ryder Cup competition in Warwickshire.  The nice people above are members of Ansty Golf Club.  They have formed their own league played during the winter culminating in a two-day event.  This is now our 13th year.

(Thanks, Mr LOL, for taking the photo!  Poorly back kept him out of the team this year.)

Back later in the week.  I have got some serious catching up to do at home.  Cheers for now :).

I am not really into golf. I mean I'm sure it's a great game but other than watching the clothing I get bored with it. I must say though...your golfers are not really "up" on the fashion. And, because I am from the USA I am glad we get to keep the title. Also, I am glad to it was a tie too. I always feel bad for the losers.

Loving the group snap - thank you Mr. LOL (hope the back keeps getting better)! Mr. L and I were just talking about golf earlier today, walking by the neighborhood golf course and seeing everyone playing in the glorious sun. Enjoy your break!

Is it okay that I'm happy that the U.S. retained the title? :-) I wish I were a golfer. Such a nice way to spend time outside! Enjoy your break!

Kara - You made me smile. No real fashion statements will be found within in our group...just fun, friendship and a great walk around our golf course enjoying the game. I love seeing what the professionals & supporters wear too...if I could afford it, would love some of those great outfits the pro's wear. Some of the lady golfers look just amazing...may be one day :).

Lulu - Mr. LOL is doing his exercises as I sit here. That is a good sign. He really missed not being able to play yesterday.

Adele - Yes, it is definitely ok that USA retained the title. Being an American living in England for nearly 40 years now...does confuse things for me. I don't always support USA. Hard to believe :).

Thanks for stopping by!

Doronette - We did...I lost my game and I still had fun :).

Yes, GRACE, congratulations to all you in OZ! Not only did you have the winner you also had 2 others the placed near the top. Great achievement. I am delighted for you all. Remember, we have an Australian grandson, appearing on the scene after Mum and Dad and big sis moved to OZ. Thanks for kind wishes for Mr. LOL. It is such a slow process. Use Ice, Grace. 10 minutes every 2 hours. Get well soon :).

Well done, Toonman and you too Daryl for seeing such a super tournament. Mr LOL went to chiro and he is a tad better. Cheers.

Keep your head down, follow through, and don't overswing . . . let the club do its job.
