I will go back at get better shots around the courts when they are closed :). The sculpture is called Basilica by Paul de Monchaux. It was installed in 1991, weighing a token 18 tonnes.
Hope you all had a great weekend. We actually had a decent amount of sunshine. It is still cold but getting a tad warmer. I am ready for more of that. Cheers.
PS During the week I will be reverting back to a brighter template. It may take a couple of days to get the color and spacing right....hopefully :).

People like that are bad for your blood pressure. Whenever it happens people should join forces via some social network and head over and photo bomb that place.
ha, that's like the pentagon, no photos, even from the outside!
i think this background looks great ... and i still dont 'get' why you were asked to deleted photos of the 'sign' .. its not exactly a secret what it represents or that that building is located there ... its weird ... nevertheless those are good photos of an interesting sculpture
Thanks for taking the risk for us!! :-)
Sometimes I can understand the no-photo policy (frail art where flashbulbs are a risk, or security risks), but in the case of public pieces like this or just some mundane shop....I don't get it really. You still got lovely photos and I'm happy you did!! (Also, enjoying the template updates:)
Glad you listened:)
hmm, it all sounds so overly suspicious on his part 9or his bosses)
still, you got some nicely framed shots here.
Great shot with the emblem showing through LOL.. I was taking some photos at the weekend at my local shopping mall, flowers and books, P noticed the stall owner watching me, eventually he came up and asked 'can I help you?' I said 'no thanks I'm fine' haha! Thing was, there was no reason at all for not taking pictures..
Interesting subject. Like reading your thoughts....Thank YOU!
