Screen Of Saints And Angels

Great West Window, Coventry Cathedral

I am not completely sure about these two photographs.  But there is something about the clouds, reflections and blue sky that appeals to me.  John Hutton, artist, took 10 years to create the glass engravings on the Great West Window.

I've always wanted to see these and the play of reflections is lovely. It's almost like a still from a movie. (And I was never good at American history either!)

Lovely to see the cathedral again, I have visited it once before and think it was consecrated the very week I was born, 50 years ago this month?

Londonlulu - I find the top photo a bit scary somehow. Not my favourite.

Chrissy - There are ongoing 50 year Coventry Cathedral celebrations here in Coventry. (Happy Birthday to you for next week.)
