M Is For Monks Kirby

The Church of St Edith dominates the landscape of Monks Kirby
(taken last Sunday from Newnham Paddox grounds).

I have just a couple more photos to share of our visit.

The dark posts in the centre of the photo (above) are the
magnificent Grade I listed gates you can see HERE.
Below is one of several daffodil-lined walks.

...and more daffodils.

I couldn't pass on showing you this piano.  I just love it :).

a charity event held at the home of The Earl & Countess of Denbigh.

Interesting you posted a photo of the church of St Edith as my post today is about St Edith's well in Kemsing, Kent. The same St Edith?

What a super place to be walking around! It's exactly how I have pictured the English countryside. Well, except for the piano. That's a riot. You could enter that photo in a contest!

St. Edith? She's a new one to me! Sounds a lot like Aunt Edith. :)

LOVE IT! Quite the fun and novel use for a piano.

You've got such green freshness going on!

The placement of the piano is, to say the least, quite unusual!

This is so English! I wish I could take the same walk even if I don't play the piano!

Just a wonderful place for a stroll on an early spring day. The daffodils are exploding.

And that piano? What a happy surprise.

I am so glad you all have enjoyed a little look of Warwickshire. This estate is gorgeous...and that piano was a joy to find.

Fun60 - I am going to have to do some research :).
