I need to go there
Ah, England in the Spring! More precisely, Coventry in the Spring! I remember the trees blossoming around the Cathedral. I wonder if they are the same ones. Fifty years is a long time!Love the daffodils and scenes around Monks Kirby as well as the pretty cottage with cat on the roof.Hope you are well.Betty
totally gorgeous...i can't get enough of these ruins!
Beautiful! What kind of tree is it?
Oh, it's so pretty!Jane x
Nice, artsy photos, Lauren! Well done. Looks like spring has finally arrived in all of its glory!
The blossoms here are exquisite!
Wonderful compositions of the cathedral and the spring blooms.
So very pretty! Spring is trying to arrive across the Northern Hemisphere!
Thank you all for your comments. Bill - We aren't that far from you!Betty - 50 years is a long time. Some parts of Coventry are just the same, I'm sure.I'm think those are peach blossoms but I stand corrected if you thing different.
Why is it that in Coventry a cathedral ruin is so beautiful and treasured and here in the States it would be declared a hazard and torn down immediately...then replaced with some God-awful new boxy cement building??? You all have the right idea!!!
Oh my!! I love the architectural history in the UK.
