Organ Pipes

Coventry Cathedral
Organ Pipes and Reflecting Light

Coventry Cathedral's organ is a gift from the people of Canada.
I have heard the organ music and I can't wait to hear it again.

The pipes (above) play an integral part of the cathedral design.
The light on the wall passes through huge stained-glass windows.

This is a sad day.
News of terrorist attacks in Brussels is heartbreaking.

That's a lot of pipes- and a glorious space.

I heard the news about Belgium earlier... what a shock.

Beautiful! There is something extra-emotional about organ music.

The Belgian attacks are sobering. Europe is in such turmoil now.

That is the MOST marvelous organ imaginable, and I have reason to have known a few!

I would LOVE to be there to hear it!!!

You captured beautiful reflections here Lauren.. When dreadful things like this keep happening it's hard to keep believing the world is a good place, but we have to!

I love the pattern those pipes make.

The cathedral with its pipes and stained-glass stands as a rebuke to those terrorists! Love pipe organs and stained-glass, so I really enjoyed this post.

Beautiful shots...When seeing this kind of beauty in these old cathedrals, it's hard to fathom that religion can be the foundation of the terror attacks around the world.
