Between Christmas & New Year

Today at Coombe Country Park.

The modest bouquet of flowers left on one of the many
memorial benches here tugged on my heartstrings.

This is such a poignant photograph - in the midst of all that beauty is sadness. The loss of a loved one can be unbearable!

I think a bench is such a wonderful memorial. You have captured it so well.

It is sad to see flowers left, but their memory is clearly being remembered. Such a beautiful photo x

There is a story there, but certainly a sad one.

Both sad and happy. And it's such a beautiful place.

It is such a pretty scene, though the flowers introduce an ominous feeling. Let's hope that someone just left the flowers behind and will soon come back for them.

Nice to see you here again,
