Day Out To 'Another Place'

Crosby Beach, England

Another Place is the title of a permanent exposition of sculptures
(there are over 100 of them) created by Antony Gormley.
The ship, conveniently,  just happened to be passing by.

The dog?  Just having a closer look, I guess :).

When we visited, many of the sculptures were out of sight, hidden by the high tide.
Crosby Beach is between Liverpool and Southport in the North of England.
It takes about 2 hours (123 miles) to get here from Coventry.

PS.  I am suffering from a rather bad toothache.  Been to the
dentist 3 times and hopefully it will all be sorted next week.
I'll post when I can :).

I enjoyed seeing Antony Gormley's sculptures two years ago when I was in Italy. They were on temporary display in various parts of San Gimignano. I've seen photos of the ones you have pictured before but, would love to see them in person.
Hope the tooth is better very soon.

I would love to see them when the tide is out, but I can't help thinking it may look a little eerie :) So sorry to hear about the recurring toothache Lauren, nothing worse.. what's to be done about it?

Fantastic! Great timing on top.
Hope you're already better now. Toothache is something really awful...
