Look what I found yesterday!
Aylesbrook Cottage
17th Century thatched roof cottage
with a little extra. Look in the front garden.
I sort of peered over the hedge to get the shot above.
Market Bosworth is a small market town located about
20 miles from Coventry and is full of history and things to do.
I decided to postpone my 'Little Virginia' photos, promised last week.
Got a tad excited at finding a thatched cottage like this :).

It's a wonder!
Gorgeous! Boy I miss my old thatched cottage, especially at this time of year as it was so cosy xx
Lots going on here, love those chimneys and the wooden garden animals.
Fantastic.
Great cottage and what great wood sculptures in the garden
what a charming cottage, I've always wanted to live in one!
Beautiful shots!
The kind of roof you'll never see on this side of the ocean.
I've always thought of thatched roofs as looking 'simple' (though i know they are intricate, just not in a patterned way)
These thatched roofs are very interesting.
i love this one. i want to live there!
What a charming cottage!!! I love the delicate design of the thatch!
I've looked at thatched roof houses before, but never had one look back as this one seems to. Anyway, it's a fantastic place. Nice shots !
LOL, this thatched house is a real wonder!
Gosh what a find Lauren.. This is one of the most ornate thatches we've seen here..so beautifully coiffed :) it looks like the cottage is a warmer cream colour rather than the white.. tres, tres jolie!
I am already thinking I would like to go back to Market Bosworth soon.
Thank you for you charming comments and noticing the difference in this particular thatch.
