S Is For Self-Sacrifice

Have a look at the plinth supporting
the bronze sculpture of Lady Godiva by
William Reid Dick - 'Self-Sacrifice'

That will do nicely for today's ABC Wednesday.

Photos were taken after a morning of rain, hail and wind.
Loving that blue sky :).

Splendid shots! I've been to Coventry and wandered through both the ruins of the old cathedral and the new one. Beautiful spot.

Aaaaah, there she is. She's been moved a few times but I'm glad to see the hideous roof is no longer there!

I am happy that you like the photo. Thank you!

Jane - Yes, the canopy is gone. It is so much nicer now that there are no buses or traffic in Broadgate. Come back and see.

Funny, Tanya!

Stuart - That sky was just amazing and clear after some bad weather.

Grace - We are getting there :).
