The Menagerie

View from Coombe Country Park
Photo taken yesterday.

The Menagerie is a Grade II listed house designed by Henry Holland
and built to replicate the menagerie at the
Palace of Versailles.

Whenever I walk around Coombe Country Park
I'm always on the look out for views of The Menagerie.
Modern times dictate that I have to share my view of this
18th century house
with the electricity pylon to the rear of it
and sometimes the telephone lines in the foreground.
Oh well.

Oh go on...I'll do a 'little' editing :).

I had a stinking cold last week...so hopefully
all better now and ready to be posting more this week.

Cheers for now!

So sorry that you don't feel well! That hasn't hampered your picture-taking ability, though! What an interesting place! And a beautiful day there. Take care of yourself and if you want to avoid catching a cold, stay away from malls, stores and churches and especially little kids! :)

The sky looks clear and bright; hope your health will soon be the same.

If you take meds you can get over it in a week, but if you don't, it will take seven days.
