The Baptistry Window
Coventry Cathedral
I walked into Coventry Cathedral on Wednesday
and was astonished how the sunlight hit
the stained glass windows to my right.
I shared photos of this window two years ago and
feel it is 'ok' to show it again today.
I will show more of this window again next week.
For now, notice the man walking past the window on the left (below).
That will give you an idea of the size of this wall of light.
Yesterday, a kind neighbour of ours passed away and
I also learned of the tragic death of one of our
City Daily Photo family, Tina Forrester, and her husband.
It was a sad day.
For today, I would just like to say, 'Happy Birthday, Mom'.
Her middle name was 'Sunshine'.

It's beautiful!
I'm still in shock about EG.
That is one incredibly beautiful window! Take good care, my friend!
An amazing window- fitting to feature it under the circumstances.
Like Lowell said, take care... Difficult days.
And the second shot: it looks a bit like a heart. Very fitting.
Such a stunning beautiful window. It's a fitting tribute to a tragic situation.
Very pretty!
It is one of the most beautiful modern cathedral windows and stunning when you see the sun shining through.

When the light is right, stained glass windows give off a reverent glow.
The colors and light are beautiful. I'm so sorry to hear about your neighbor and I still can't believe the horrible news about Tina and her husband. Such a loss.
God Bless your Mom. And our Tina & husband.
That wall of light is consoling! Thank you, dear friend
That is beautiful! Love the colorful light.
That is a huge and very beautiful window.
That is a cracking shot! We also had a Victoria post box in the village I was born in - I wonder if it is still there?
